“Kuniumi” Birth of Japan – Diorama animation

This project entailed the creation of a 15-second animated diorama. The subject of the animation is based on the creation story of the Japanese religion known as Shintoism. The diorama displays the 2 gods of the Earth, “Izanagi” and “Izanami” using a celestial spear to form land on the endless ocean, with a heavenly pillar erupting once finished. Afterward, the two confess their love for each other and embrace in front of the pillar. Very romantic <3
